SCRIPTURE11

Scripture 11 doesn't have an extraodinary story of how we formed. We met in high school, and were joined together by a love for music. Like every band we have gone through our trials and tribulations, but have risen above by keeping each other accountable to ourselves and to God. It's no easy task, but we truly love each other in Christ and look out for each other even when its uncomfortable to do so. One of our greatest accomplishments is that every member is an original member (Heber joined us in 2008). Some people feel you need something tremendous to happen to you before you truly start following God; i.e. a near death experience, or witnessing a miracle, but God wants us to come to him early on in life before he has to do something drastic to get our attention. God can always use something bad for his good, but just imagine, for example what God could have done with Samson's life if he had never messed up in the first place. Then the greatest part of his story wouldn't have been his death, but his life. With that said there is no greater honor than to serve our Lord with the talents that He has given us. Every concert is another ministry opportunity and that is excactly how we view them.

To the giving heart

If we have blessed you with our music or words, and you want to help us continue doing so for others, we want to give you an opportunity to do so. We dont however want you to feel obligated or guilty one way or the other.
1 Corinthians 9:
13. Don't you know that those who work in the temple get their food from the temple, and those who serve at the altar share in what is offered on the altar?
14. In the same way, the Lord has commanded that those who preach the gospel should receive their living from the gospel.
15. But I have not used any of these rights. And I am not writing this in the hope that you will do such things for me. I would rather die than have anyone deprive me of this boast.
16. Yet when I preach the gospel, I cannot boast, for I am compelled to preach. Woe to me if I do not preach the gospel!
17. If I preach voluntarily, I have a reward; if not voluntarily, I am simply discharging the trust committed to me.
We believe Paul is right, and we have our reward. So if God is directing you, then let him be the judge of your kindness to us. God Bless you.

God is everything.
